Where would you say you have met some of your valuable music industry connections?

There is a great discussion going on over at the Music Industry Forum boards on LinkedIn about one of our favorite topics: networking.  Specifically, member Richard Sanchez asked the group "Where would you say you have met some of your valuable  music industry contacts?"  Answers have ranged from conference [i.e. MIDEM, CMJ, SXSW] to shows to the internet.  Networking opportunities are all around us.  We're going to leave the comments open on this one and would love to hear what you have to say ...
